The Friendship Behind Luna & Rose Jewelry Boutique

Some stories begin with a spark — ours began with a shared love for beauty, creativity, and connection.

We met over fifty years ago on the sunny coast of Byron Bay. Two young women who instantly clicked over coffee dates, weekend markets, and a fascination with how a single piece of jewelry could hold so much meaning. What started as a simple hobby soon grew into a lifelong passion.

For years, we spent late nights sketching designs, collecting gemstones, and learning the art of silversmithing. Our goal was never about perfection it was about feeling. Every bracelet, every necklace, every pair of earrings we created carried a story a celebration of the women who wear them and the moments that make life shine.

We’ve always had different energies Luna, the dreamer, inspired by the moon, the ocean, and everything mystical; and Rose, the heart, grounded and soulful, finding beauty in simplicity and natural forms. Together, we’ve balanced one another perfectly a reflection of how our jewelry brings harmony between elegance and authenticity.

In 2000, we turned our shared dream into something tangible Luna & Rose Jewelry Boutique. A brand born here in Australia, created to offer women timeless, handcrafted jewelry that feels personal, feminine, and empowering.
